Letters: N, B – We will be assessing your child on Friday to see if they know all the letters and sounds we have covered so far.
Words: was, by, gray– We will also be assessing to see if they know all of our popcorn words
Book: Halloween Party
Poem: “Flutter, Flutter Little Bat”
Word Family: -ip Family, sip, clip, trip, etc.
Math Things to be practicing:
Counting to 100 by ones and tens
Writing and counting numbers 21 - 30

Coming up: 1. Everyday Folders: Please
make sure you are checking your child’s folder every night and taking the papers out. Leaving papers in there makes it harder to pack up at the end of the day
2. Reading Bags: Please be
sure to read through their story at least once every night! They really need the extra practice at home to help them to become confident readers. Also, make sure you are sending the correct book and the flashcards in the bag
3. Behavior Charts:
Remember to initial your child’s chart every night.
4. Homework Folders:
Remember that homework folders are to be turned in on Fridays. The work needs to be completed and done well.
Thank you parents who took time to attend Parent/Teacher conferences before Fall Break. Please return the signed portion of the report card this week.
