1. Dashes (‐‐) indicate NC values less than 20. 2. Sound power levels are given in decibels (dB). 3. "** Discharge sound power levels 2008" do not include duct end reflection. For the most current data based on ASHRAE Standard 130‐2008 and AHRI Standard 880‐2011 reference "Discharge sound power levels." 4. Dashes (‐‐) indicate sound power levels below 36‐29‐26‐22‐19‐17 for each octave band; values below these sound power levels are considered below significance per AHRI 880. 5. Minimum operating pressure is the minimum static pressure required to operate the terminal unit assembly at maximum primary flow with a wide open damper. 6. Airflow is given in cubic feet per minute (cfm). 7. Air pressure drop is given in inches water gauge (in. w.g.), and water pressure drop is given in feet of water gauge (ft. w.g.). 8. * NC values are derived from sound power levels obtained in accordance with ASHRAE Standard 130‐2008 and AHRI Standard 880‐2008. These values are NOT the most current method for estimating NC values because AHRI 880‐2008 does not include duct end reflection corrections. 9. Terminal unit assembly is ETL certified in accordance with UL1995 and CSA 22.2.236.

Terminal Unit Installation Considerations 1.
Straight run connections: a. The nominal size of both the duct and the terminal collar should be the same. b. The duct should always fit over the collar, never in the collar. c. Fasten and seal according to job specifications. d. There should be at least 3 ½ diameters of duct before any obstructions in flow (e.g. elbows, tees or large transitions).
2.
Flex elbow connections: a. An elbow of flex duct is not recommended with a bend radius of 1 ½ times the diameter and should be 3 ½ diameters away from the inlet of the terminal unit. b. Straight sections of flex duct before the inlet of the terminal should be drawn as taut as possible to minimize the folding of the duct. c. Elbows should not have any sharp bends; a long gradual bend is desired. d. Fasten and seal according to job specifications.
3.
Hard elbow connections: a. Hard elbows should be used as specified or when the available distance for a straight run before the terminal inlet is less and 1½ diameter. b. A hard elbow connection should be used for all applications where obstructions are a concern for turbulent flow. c. Fasten and seal according to the job.

Fan blower shall be heavy gauge steel with forward curved blades, dynamically balanced with direct drive motor. Motor shall be permanent split capacitor type with lubricated bearings and thermal overload protection, and shall be fully isolated from blower assembly. Unit shall incorporate a backdraft damper at the fan section to prevent cold primary air from flowing through the fan into the ceiling cavity or return air plenum. Units shall incorporate a single point electrical and control connection for the entire unit. All electrical components shall be enclosed in a single control enclosure, sealed from the primary airflow. Units shall be ETL listed to meet UL1995 and CSA No. 236 and ARI certified. Electric Reheat Coil: Electric reheat shall be slip-in type, open coil design, with integral control enclosure. Coil elements shall be fabricated of 80/20 Nickel/Chromium.
