Reminders Year 6 – Trip to Southwark Cathedral, 7th November Thank you to those of you who have paid for and returned permission slips for the trip to Southwark Cathedral. Please could outstanding replies be handed in as soon as possible. Choir performance at Deanery Mass If your child is in the choir please could you send back the reply slip giving them permission to perform at the Deanery Mass on Monday 17th October at 5pm asap.

Year 2 Trip to The Golden Hinde

Year 6 Bikeability The London Borough of Bromley Road Safety Team will be running a Bikeability Level 1 cycling skills session for Year 6 pupils at Holy Innocents’ school on Tuesday 29th November, 2016.

On Wednesday this week Year 2 travelled up to Bankside, London to visit The Golden Hinde, a full reconstruction of Sir Francis Drake’s famous galleon in which he circumnavigated the world.

If you would like your child to take part please complete the application from (coming home in book bags or available from the school office) and return to the class teacher by the deadline of 1st November.

Harvest Festival The visit was to support Year 2’s current ‘Explorers’ project. They made great ‘cabin’ boys and girls, listened well and learnt a lot. Everyone had a great day and Mrs Connon says thank you very much to everyone who helped on this trip.

PFA Fashion & Pamper Night

The PFA are holding a Fashion Show and Pamper night at school on the 10th November, 2106 from 7.30pm - 9.30pm. Clothes from the ‘Hey Dolly’ Clothes boutique will be modelled in a fashion show and available to buy. There will also be a fantastic array of stalls with jewellery, make up, cosmetics, a chance to have a hot stones massage, reflexology or get your nails done at a discounted rate!

We are looking forward to Harvest Festival next Friday and really appreciate any donations you can make. The Mayoress of Bromley, Mrs Judith Payne, will be attending so we hope to have a lovely display. Suggestions that the food bank are in short supply of include:  Pasta Sauce  Squash (small bottles)  Rice (500g)  UHT milk (1 litre)  Deodorants  Sugar  Long life fruit juice  Size 5/6 nappies  Washing powder  Canned meat products Please remember we cannot accept opened or out of date products. Children can take donations to their class. Many thanks for your support and generosity.
