5 Payment Information & Cancellation Policy
Deposit Information: A $150 deposit is required for each hotel reservation. Your credit card will be charged at the time of booking. Cancellation Policy: Reservation cancellations made by September 20, 2010 will receive a full deposit refund. Cancellations made after September 20, 2010 will receive a deposit refund less a $19 service fee for each reservation. Cancellations made within 72 hours prior to date of arrival will be subject to loss of deposit. Please refer to individual confirmation for policy details. Otherwise rooms will not be confirmed.** This signed contract will constitute your “Group” official block request of 20 rooms or more for SCTE Cable-Tec Expo® 2010. Rooms are confirmed on a first-come basis upon receipt of this signed contract. The total room nights contained in this contract can be reduced by 10% without penalty if received in writing by the onPeak Event Manager, Patty Hendricks ([email protected] / (312) 329 9972 fax) by the Final Adjustment Date: September 3, 2010. Should this contract be entered into after September 3, no reduction will be allowed and the block as outlined at time of signature will be considered the final contracted block. Should the actual room nights utilized fall below 90% on a per night basis after the Final Adjustment Date, Group agrees to be financially responsible for the unused room nights for any contracted dates. Furthermore, should Group cancel the contracted room block at any point after signature, SCTE Cable-Tec Expo reserves the right to hold Group responsible for the total number of contracted room nights multiplied by the booked hotel room rates.
