Grafton took a week off from the hurdles and sprinted to the CSAC top and ECAC qualifying 100m time of 11.03 and the seond 200m time of 22.47 before splitting a 48.4 leg on the ECAC qualifying and CSAC leading 4x400m relay team

Pell won the 400m hurdles and broke a 9 year old school record by running a 1:04.49. That not only ranks her first in the CSAC, but also first in the NCAA Mid-East Region, four in the ECAC and 27th in the NCAA. Rachel also placed 8th in the 100m hurdles.

Cierra Adkins - Gwynedd Mercy University - Sr. Adkins posted season best times in the 200 (26.50) and 400 (1:01.48) both times put her in the top two in the CSAC standings.

Nick Shaffer posted two first place finishes at the WCU Invitational. In the 100 (11.09) and the 200 (22.68).

Patton won the pole vault at the Mount Union John Homon Invite by going 4.81m (15' 9.25") an event which he continues to lead the CSAC in. He then went to the triple jump where he leaped 12.86m (42' 2.25") which places him at the third spot in the CSAC and was the best CSAC triple

Yenchik flew over 11 feet for the second time this outdoor season in the pole vault and also triple jumped 33' 4". She leads the CSAC in both events.

Was 11th in the javelin (153-8) and 12th in the high jump (5-8.75) at the Coach P Invitational at Moravian.

Was ninth in the triple jump (32-3), and 15th in the long jump (14-6) at the Westminster Invitational.

Tyler Shotto - Marywood University - Gr. Broke three school records at Moravian in the high jump (6-2.75), long jump (20-2) and in the 400 at 49.67.

GWYNEDD MERCY GRIFFINS

The men’s track and field team set nine personal records at the Westminster Invite. John Bolster and Patrick Tansill both PR'd the 1,500-meter run by knocking seven seconds off of their previous personal best. Matthew Crotteau set a personal best in the 5,000-meter run by 10 seconds. The 4x100meter relay team missed the school record by 1/100th of a second and came in second overall. The women’s track and field team posted ten personal records at Westminster. Suki Almeida broke her own school record in the 400-meter dash (1:01.71) while Janelle Lunde shattered her school record in the 400-meter hurdles (1:09.14). All three Lady Barons who entered the triple jump made it to the finals while Lunde finished ninth.

The Griffins men’s track and field team participated in the West Chester University Invitational over the weekend. Nick Shaffer posted two first place finishes in the 100 (11.09) and the 200 (22.68). Marty Frempong threw a distance of (41.29m-135'5") for a new personal best. Cierra Adkins posted season best times in the 200 (26.50) and 400 (1:01.48) both times put her in the top two in the CSAC standings. Nicole Picciolo threw a mark of (26.35m, 86' 5") in the Javelin.

IMMACULATA MIGHTY MACS

KEYSTONE GIANTS

Immaculata was at the WCU Invitational this past Saturday for its third meet of the outdoor season. The event did not have any team scoring. Michael Wamsher had a strong performance in the 400 meters as he placed 14th in a time of 53.99. Gabe Dwyer finished 10th in shot put with a throw of 11.38 meters, and Dean Forlano finished fifth in javelin with a measurement of 34.26 meters. Jacki D'Amico led the way on the women's track side with her seventhplace finish in the 800 meters with a time of 2:26.93. Jessica McHugh also had a strong finish in the 800m in 12th place with a time of 2:28.19. On the field side of the events, Tara Liska tied for fourth in the high jump with a mark of 1.43 meters.

Keystone men’s track and field recorded eight top-10 finishes on at Moravian's Coach P Invitational on Friday and Saturday. Corey Allegrucci set a new school record in the 110 meter hurdles, Ty Fenstermacher finished second in the 400 meter hurdles, and Carl Joseph took third in the 400 meter dash to highlight a strong day for the Giants. Keystone totaled seven top-20 finishes at Moravian's Coach P Invitational on Friday and Saturday in Bethlehem. Nicole Delevan and Tameka Wood placed eighth and ninth in the 200 meter dash respectively while Jayde Newman posted a pair of top-20 results in throwing events to lead the Giants in the competition. Keystone will next compete in the Misericordia Invitational on Saturday, April 22.

AROUND THE CSAC MARYWOOD PACERS

NEUMANN KNIGHTS

Marywood competed at the Coach P Invitational this weekend at Moravian College. Tyler Shotto won the 400 in 49.67 seconds. It was one of three school records Shotto broke, with new benchmarks set in the high jump and long jump. Nick Marollo broke his week-old discus record to finish fourth with a distance of 40.62 meters. Alex Small placed sixth out of 29 participants in the women's shot put. Amelia Waibel and DeKonti Sayeh would have snapped the 100 dash record had their times not exceeded wind-aided levels. A total of 28 personal records were established by Marywood athletes at the meet. The Pacers will compete Wednesday at Gwynedd Mercy.

Neumann competed at the West Chester Invite on Saturday. Nathan Hawk continued to improve in the men's 3000 meter steeplechase, again setting a new record in the event with a time of 11:42.40. Nafees Norris was the other top finisher for Neumann, finishing in 8th place in the 800 meter run with a time of 2:03.57. Faith Fayiah led the way with a 16th place finish in the 200 meter dash with a time of 27.81. The Knights will compete at the Gwynedd Mercy Midweek on Wednesday.

PENN STATE BEHREND LIONS The Penn State Behrend men's track and field team competed at the John Homon Open Saturday, hosted by Mount Union. Mitchell Obenrader and Luke Patten both finished first in their respective events. Obenrader had a toss of 16.84 meters (55'2.75") in the shot put while Patten vaulted to a height of 4.81 meters (15'9.25") to take the crown. Obenrader is ranked fourth in the NCAA in shot put. Jarrod Lipsey and Aaron Peters came in second and third in the steeplechase, respectively. Lipsey had a time of 10:00.13 while Peters crossed the finish in 10:07.08. The women's track and field team competed at the John Homon Open Saturday hosted by Mount Union. Paige Allen, Ashlyn Carlsson, Haley Yenchik, and Rachel Pell took first place in the 4x100 meter race with a time of 49.40. Allen, Carlsson, Pell, and Katelyn Hancock clocked a 4:02.98 in the 4x400 relay to capture a third-place finish. Both teams lead the CSAC. Allen took fourth in the 200 meter dash with a time of 26.05 and then raced to 12.37 second finish in the 100, giving her fifth place. Hancock qualified for ECACs and set a new personal record in the 800 meter race after taking fourth place with a time of 2:18.44. Rachel Ramsey competed in the 10000 meter race, taking second after crossing the finish in 42:03.11.
