Shaffer won the 200 meter race at the Millersville Metrics with a time of 22.36, and was second in the 100 meters at 11.12. He also finished second in the 4x1 meter relay with a time of 43.48.
CSAC HONOR ROLL Grant Rodgers - Penn State Behrend - Fr. Rodgers won the 200m in 23.07and was 2nd in 100m in 11.75 at the CMU Quad Meet. He also anchored 4x1 to win in 42.85
At the CMU quad meet, she was second in 100 hurdles, with a16.63,. She won the 400m hurdles with a time 1:06.93 and then ran in back to back events (400 hurdles then 200m) to place 4th in 200m in 28.40, and ran a leg on winning 4x100m relay.

Chante Moore - Gwynedd Mercy University - So. Moore continued to impress finishing with the top time in the 400 meters with a time of 58.47 at the Millersville Metrics.
Shannon Vairo - Keystone College - Sr. Vairo finished second in the 10,000 meter run on Saturday at the Millersville University Metrics with a time of 42:56.92.

Penn State Behrend—Sr. - Fryburg, Pa. At the CMU quad meet, Obenrader won the javelin with a throw of 61.42m, and also won the shot put 17.21m, which was a stadium record. He also placed 2nd overall and 1st in the scored meet in discus with 46.45m throw
CHYANNE FINE Gwynedd Mercy Univ. - So. - Hanover Twp., Pa. Fine threw a CSAC best (11.17m-36' 7.75") in the Shot Put at the Millersville Metrics. She also held the top spot in the CSAC in the Discus with a throw of (35.04m—114' 11") .

CSAC HONOR ROLL Nick Marollo - Marywood University - Sr.
Smith won the hammer throw at Alvernia with a distance of 34.9 meters. Her throw put her into first in CSAC rank and set a new school record. Smith also placed fourth in the shot put and discus.
Marollo took first place in the discus at Alvernia with a distance of 40.02. He also broke a school record by finishing third in the shot put at 12.74 meters

The Franciscan men’s team had Matthew Crotteau a strong showing in the mid-distance and distance races at Bethany. took fourth overall in the 10,000-meter run. Three Barons placed in the top-20 in the 1500-meter run including Patrick Tansill, Joseph Gallagher, and John Bolster, while the 4x100 meter relay team took sixth, narrowly missing a school record. The Lady Barons collected five top-10 finishes at Bethany. Janelle Lunde was responsible for three of the five top-10 finishes. Emily Theurer finished in the top10 in the 800-meter race and 13th in the 1500-meter run.
The Gwynedd Mercy University T&F team competed at the 2017 Millersville Metrics. Freshman Nick Shaffer won the 200 meter race with a time of 22.36. He also a ran the 100 meters in 11.12 to finish top 2. Joe McCoy jumped a CSAC best (6.47m 21' 2.75") in the long jump. Chyanne Fine threw a CSAC best (11.17m 36' 7.75") in the Shot Put. She also held the top spot in the CSAC in the Discus with a throw of (35.04m 114' 11"). Chante Moore continued to impress finishing with the top time in the 400 meters with a time of 58.47.

KEYSTONE GIANTS
The women's track & field team did not earn any points at this week's Millersville Metrics. Tara Liska tied for ninth in the high jump and Jess McHugh was 10th in the 800 meter for the top IU finishes on the day. The Macs will compete at the WCU Invitational this weekend. The men’s team placed 21st at the Millersville Metrics this weekend led by eighth place finished by Thomas Sagendorf in the javelin and an eighth place finish by the 4x400-meter relay team. The Macs will compete at the WCU Invitational this Saturday.
Keystone enjoyed an outstanding showing on Saturday at the Millersville University Metrics, posting 11 top-10 finishes including seven top-5 results. Carl Joseph (400 meters) and Edward Sichilongo (triple jump) brought home 3rd place finishes, Ty Fenstermacher took 4th in the 110 meter hurdles, and Dan McSurdy placed 5th in both the 100 meter and 200 meter dashes. Keystone will next compete in Moravian's Coach P Invitational on Friday and Saturday.
AROUND THE CSAC MARYWOOD PACERS Marywood split time at Widener and Alvernia this week. The throwers were able to put Marywood into third and fourth place in the men's and women's standings, respectively, at Alvernia. Nick Marollo won the men's discus in 40.02 meters. He also broke the school record in the shot put. Mikaela Smith won the hammer throw with a record-breaking distance of 34.9 meters. At Widener, Kelby Cole took sixth in a rainy 5K run. Tyler Shotto tied his school record (1.85m) with a sixth place in the high jump.
PENN STATE BEHREND LIONS The Penn State Behrend women's track and field team took second with a team score of 157 at the Carnegie Mellon Quad Meet this Saturday. The Lions combined for seven first place finishes and 24 total top five finishes. Behrend had five of the top six finishes in the 1500 meter race. Paige Allen won both the 200 and 400 meter races with times of 26.72 and 1:01.48, respectively. The men's track and field team combined for eight first place finishes as well as 25 total top-5 finishes. Mitchell Obenrader's shot put toss of 17.21 meters currently places him third in the nation while Luke Patten's winning pole vault of 4.88 meters sits him seventh in the nation.
NEUMANN KNIGHTS Neumann was at the Danny Curran Invitational at Widener University. No team score was kept. The Knights will continue to work on their times next weekend at the West Chester Invite.
