Spring Registration!!! CBSL spring registration ends soon!!!! Registration will run through February 28th and will be entirely online at www.cbsl.org. League evaluations will take place on the weekends of 3/4 and 3/11. February General Meeting Notes Spring Season Registration • Open and ongoing - closes on Feb 28 (goes longer for T-ball and Senior baseball/softball) • 289 players registered to date • This is about on par with trends from last year Background Checks / Volunteer Applications – ALL managers, coaches, and parent volunteers are required to submit a Volunteer Application every year BEFORE being on the field with kids. NO EXCEPTIONS. The list of approved volunteers will be posted on the website. First Advantage requires each NEW volunteer applicant to provide their SSN as part of the application. RETURNING volunteers can fill out the returning volunteer form that does not require the same level of information. Safety & 1st Aid Training – To be presented at the next general meeting, March 14. Manager/Coordinator Interviews – All managers (including T-ball) are being interviewed by the E-Board. Manager interviews will be scheduled for Feb 21, 22, 23; final assignments will be made once registrations are concluded and we know how many are needed at each level. No individual will be approved to manage a team without an interview. As soon as managers and coordinators are approved by the EOB, selections will be made available to the membership.

• New roof and repaint the dugout Battleship grey • Kevin has some master carpenters lined up to help • Does anyone have connections to help reduce cost for lumber or paint (for concrete)? • Wants to do the work in late March, finishing by early April • Needs all the money by the time he starts work – mid-March • If you can help, please contact us at [email protected]
