Intramural Sports Table Tennis Tournament Rules 2017-2018 Note: The following Intramural Sport local rules will be used for play. Anything that is not explicitly explained will be taken from the USA Table Tennis official rules. Copies of our official rules may be obtained from the Campus Recreation Intramural Department, or online at our website, www.campusrec.tcu.edu. In addition, the Intramural Supervisor will have a copy at all times. EVERY INTRAMURAL PARTICIPANT MUST HAVE A CURRENT TCU ID WITH THEM IN ORDER TO PARTICIPATE. Eligibility: Current TCU students, faculty, and staff are eligible to participate. Alumni or community members are not eligible to participate in Intramural Sports. Equipment: TCU will provide tables, paddles, nets and balls. Participants are encouraged to bring their own paddles as long as they are approved by officials on site. Game Rules: 1. The randomly seeded competition bracket will be single elimination, winner moves on. 2. Players are allowed as long as 2 minutes to warm up before play. 3. Matches will be the best 2 out of 3 games to 21 using rally scoring and must win by 2.
