Tiny Mite Football In a battle that featured the Ocean State vs. the Granite State, the TM’ers proved that in the battle of elements, stone does in fact hit harder than water. Bedford opened the scoring on the first play of the game as Brady Doldo dashed down the sideline and the Bulldogs never looked back. The “Blocks of Granite” O-line, anchored by co-captain Juliune Espaillat, Tyson Bolduc, Beau Boughter, Patrik Burke, and Tristin Leck helped 11 different Bulldog ball carriers break free for significant yardage all game. Before the halftime oranges were handed out, Justin Chiras and Brady Jackson both added additional scores on long runs to the left side with jukes that froze Warwick defenders. The Bedford defense was Seahawklike with bone-jarring hits in a “no-fly, no-run” zone, led by the "Bruise Brothers" LB duo of Logan O’Connell and Hudson Schmitt. The line was equally as stingy with John Martineau, Evan Maslanka, Jack Petrosino, Heads Up Hitter winner Trenton Otero, and Dog Bone winner Carter Rick all leading a charge that stymied the Warwick attack. The Bulldogs recovered three fumbles, highlighted by Evan Dunker’s backfield invasion that had him take the rock to the house for the final Bedford score. Go Dogs!
