Tiny Mite Football The Tiny Mite team kicked off the 2014 season in spectacular fashion at Preston Field. Brady Doldo opened the game with a lightning-quick burst on the first play of the game, scoring a TD before a minute had burned from the clock. On the next series, Brady Jackson ran a bootleg to hit pay dirt. Dean Poltronieri added a third score on the last play of the first half. The Bulldogs “shock and awe” offense was supported by the stellar play of Bedford’s own “Blocks of Granite” line, anchored by Juliune Espaillat, Tristin Leck, John Martineau, and Patrik Burke. Bruising fullback Hudson Schmitt hammered in the game’s final score behind a pancake block by Justin Chiras. In all, 11 different Bulldogs carried the rock.

On defense, the TM’ers were relentless and stingy, not allowing a single score. Dog Bone winner, Evan Dunker, was supported by a trio of lock-down corners, Trenton Otero, Brady Proulx, and Co-Captain RJ Proulx. The defensive end play of Tyson Bolduc and Jack Petrosino was outstanding, forcing Patriots into the middle where LBs

Brody Cassidy and Beau Boughter made numerous tackles. The Bulldogs D forced several turnovers, including a timely fumble recovery by Carter Rick to stop an Amherst second half drive.
