A Warm Welcome! I’d like to say hello to two new staff members this week. Mrs Hutchinson, our new Deputy Head, started on Monday and has been getting to know all the children this week. I am sure she will become a familiar face to all of you very quickly! The other slightly more familiar face is Mr Bryson. Mr Bryson has been acting as Caretaker for the last few weeks and we are delighted that he is now a permanent fixture. Welcome aboard to both of you!
2014-2015 Term Dates Friday 14th November Children In Need Saturday 29th November Christmas Fayre Friday 19th December school closes for Christmas TUESDAY 6th January school reopens to children Friday 13th February closes for half term Monday 23rd February school reopens to children THURSDAY 2nd April school closes for Easter Monday 20th April school reopens to children Monday 4th May- Bank Holiday Monday Friday 22nd May school closes for half term Monday 1st June school reopens to children Friday 26th June school closed to childrentraining day Friday 17th July school closes for the summer

New School Website You may have noticed the school website has vanished. This is because we are about to launch a new site that we hope will be easier for you all to use (and it is a great deal nicer to look at too). We are hoping that it will be up from today at toneravenue.uk (fingers crossed!) If it hasn’t arrived today it should be up from early next week. It’s not quite perfect yet but as we iron out the bugs it should be much better,
The collection date for the Operation Christmas Child Boxes has been delayed until the 18th November. You still have time to create a box of delight! Dates for Christmas Performances
Nursery Wednesday 17th December AM Reception Wednesday 17th December PM Year 1 Friday 12th December PM Year 2 Tuesday 16th December AM & PM (2 performances) Year 3&4 Wednesday 10th December PM Year 5&6 Monday 15th December PM
Children In Need Next Friday- the 14th of November is Children In Need day. We will be having a non-uniform day in aid of the appeal. We are asking for a voluntary donation of £1 for each child. Every penny will go towards this year’s appeal.
