Weekly Dry Bean, Pea and Lentil Market News Wednesday, August 16, 2017 - Tuesday, August 22, 2017 Compared to a week ago: Trading activity was slow with good demand. According to the crop progress report for August 21, 2017, dry edible peas in Idaho was harvested at 51%, Washington was harvested at 77%, North Dakota was harvested at 77% and Montana was harvested at 89%. Beans (Garbs) harvested in Idaho has 12%, Washington has 12% and Montana has 70%. Bean harvest in North Dakota is 10 to two weeks out with inventories on certain varieties starting to dwindle down before new crop arrives.
