Weekly Dry Bean, Pea and Lentil Market News Wednesday, May 02, 2018 - Tuesday, May 08, 2018 Compared to a week ago: Trading activity was limited with light demand. Contract product is moving steady. Mexican peso per US dollar exchange rate is 19.5687. Transportation issues continue to exist. According to the NASS Crop Progress report released May 7, 2018, has Idaho peas planted at 63% for 2018 and dry edible beans at 34% and Washington at 57% for 2018 dry peas and dry edibles at 36 and Montana at 33% dry peas and dry edible beans at 5% and North Dakota has 10% dry peas.
