Weekly Dry Bean, Pea and Lentil Market News Wednesday, August 23, 2017 - Tuesday, August 29, 2017 Compared to a week ago: Trading activity was slow with good demand. According to the crop progress report for August 27, 2017, dry edible peas in Idaho was harvested at 81%, Washington was harvested at 83%, North Dakota was harvested at 85% and Montana was harvested at 94%. Dry edible beans harvested in Idaho has 31%, Washington has 14% Montana has 76% and Wyoming has 7% cut and Colorado has 1% cut. New crop prices will be ran in next weeks reports since industry is starting to post new crop values for dry edible beans. Idaho and Washington are busy cleaning new crop beans and are planning on a busy Larbor Day holiday weekend with harvest underway.
