Success Network Updates • Reading By Third Grade – Dialogue with Office of Field Services on Third Grade Reading Law on May 19 , 7:30 -8:30 a.m. – 2nd Goodwill Book sort on June 7, 10:00 a.m. – 1 p.m. – Summer Pop-Up Labs • families with children of incoming PreK-4th grade • Each week will begin with a Read Aloud • Make & Take stations • Free Book Fair • Sites at Hudson, Addison, Britton, and Porter

Scholarship Conversation • How can we ensure that every student who applies for a scholarship gets a least one? • How can we increase the number of recurring scholarships to assist persistent students? • How can we collect the data on other scholarships that are announced at local high school achievement nights?

LC2C Update • Interviews for Director to be held late May and early June • Final draft of the 2016 community report coming soon! • We are awaiting our next badge, Sustaining, from StriveTogether • Jeff Edmondson has left StriveTogether executive director position • Stan will present at the monthly Data Managers online meeting in May • LISD has agreed to participate with MDE as a partner in a Transformation Zone on Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS)
