Woodland Mushroom Quilt Block By: Cristy Stuhldreher of Love You Sew www.iloveyousew.com 12 1/2” x 12 1/2” (unfinished) Difficulty: Beginner

The autumn season brings such great memories of hiking and getting “lost” in the woods. It’s always a great game to forage for the most unique leaf or find one with the most vibrant color. It was even more fun to find all the different little mushrooms growing around and imagine the gnomes, elves, and little woodland fairies who use the forest for their homes. This block uses half-square triangles to make a sweet image of a Woodland Mushroom and is very scrap-friendly. Use solids or prints to create your next forest quilt!
