We love when the seasons are changing! It makes us want to start all kinds of new quilt projects and it renews our quilting inspiration! It’s a great time to reconnect with our quilting friends, to sew and catch up on what they’ve been doing during the summer months!

Take a Class...Earn Class Cash! Everyone profits when they learn, but Country Traditions makes it even more profitable. For every class you take in 2015, you will receive your registration fee back in “Class Cash.” Bring in your completed project from class and receive more Class Cash! Use the cash during our Holiday Affair Auction at the end of the year for great gift and quilt items.
Projects that are first on the list for many of the staff have a fall feel. We have several fall projects lined up E for you to start in the classroom here at Country Traditions. Join Geri in the Holiday Stitch by Number you can choose your favorite design from the Happy Hollow patterns. We have Mr. Chillingsworth, the famous skeleton-designed quilt, or join Nicole for a spot of tea in her “It’s a Wrap Tea Pot”. We have a great AccuQuilt Go! class ready for you, Chop Chop Braid. This quick and easy French Braid comes to life using the GO! Come to class and try out the AccuQuilt Go! cutter and see how much faster it is to cut your projects! Fall is packed with fun events as well. We cannot wait for the Handi Quilter Annual Long Arm Retreat with Lisa Calle! She is a fabulous award winning teacher. Lisa will be showing her tips and tricks to cure Quilters’s Agoraphobia on Friday. You will not want to miss Saturday class where she will be showing Totally Templates and Getting in the Groove with rulers. Mark your calendar for September 25th & 26th, for our famous annual Fat Quarter Frenzy Retreat. It will be 2 days of sewing, friendship, and good times. The staff has some exciting free patterns and activities planned for our quilting friends who come to retreat! We hope you sign up so you can enjoy the fun and fellowship here at Country Traditions. On November 13th and 14th, we are having the Great Thanksgiving Quilt Along. Grab your friends, church groups, and small groups and come spend the day with us as we sew on projects all while helping out our favorite charities. It’s not too early to start planning ahead for holiday projects! Uptown Debbie Brown, Hot Pocket, Hang the Stocking and Spicy Swirl make great gifts for friends and family. Dec La Table, Let It Snow, Christmas Whimsy, Northern Cardinal and Strip Tube Chevron all make great quilts to decorate your home for the holidays. Learn new techniques or try out some new tools with Whoo’s There, Mr. Frosty and Frozen class projects. Let Leslie help guide you through the Basics of Machine Quilting to help you finish those Christmas projects.

Country Traditions Class Policies: Reservations are required for all classes, clubs & events. PAYMENT IS REQUIRED AT THE TIME OF REGISTRATION TO HOLD YOUR PLACE IN CLASS. Complete class supply lists will be given when you register for the class. Classes require three or more students for the class to be held. If the class is canceled by Country Traditions due to low enrollment, your class fee will be refunded. If the class is postponed due to weather the class will be rescheduled. So that we may commit to our teachers, sorry there is NO refund if you cancel. Please check class dates and your own calendar carefully before registering. If an emergency occurs, you can send a friend in your place. A sewing machine is required for most classes, you are welcome to reserve our Classroom Models, please arrive early for class so we can review how it works with you. Due to copyright laws, if the class requires a pattern or book, each student is required to purchase one. Samples of class projects are on display at the store. Students are encouraged to purchase their class project supplies from Country Traditions. In appreciation, Students purchasing supplies from Country Traditions will receive a 20% discount on their supplies. Gather your friends and sign up today! You’ll have so much fun!
