DODGE COUNTY WILDCAT HOCKEY BOOSTER CLUB MINUTES December 8, 2014 ATTENDEES: Brad Wick, Tom Rasmussen, Tressa Smallbrock, Christy Schubert, Jeff Kraus, Steph Kraus, Suzzi Strunk, Tina Suhr, Doug Suhr, Pam Rasmussen, LeeAnn Hermanson, Katie Bolin

December 2014 Meeting was called to order at 7:02pm November 2014 Meeting Minutes Accepted Treasurer’s Report Accepted HS Boys Team Update  No update at this time HS Girls Team Update  No update at this time Spaghetti Dinner-LeeAnn Hermanson  All volunteer positions are filled. LeeAnn will track and report all hours. LeeAnn will meet with Tom in regards to flyers and ticket printing. Skoglunds are helping with the advertising. The Byron Events Center may be under new ownership shortly. The cost for WHBC to rent this year is $250. Raffle/Ticket Update – Mary Shelton  Mary S. reported that 60-70 tickets were sold at the raffle booth at Erdman’s. There was also a booth set up at the Dodge County Arena. Katie Bolin has received permission from Dan (owner) to sell raffle tickets at Daniel’s Northwood’s Lounge. She also shared that if the Booster Club would be interested in purchasing a gambling license they would be interested in hosting Bingo there. Brad said he would meet with Katie in regards to that following the meeting. Old Business  Co-op Night o It was reported that 62 high school students attended the girls varsity game (32-KM, 30- from co-op towns). There were also 30 youth students that attended for a total of 92. o There were 118 students that attended the boys varsity game (50-KM, 40-Byron, 10-Triton, 10-ZM, 8-PI) o Faculty Night will be held for the girls’ team on December 14th and on January 10th for the boys’ team. Schools are willing to pass on info to their staff and there will be prizes etc. o On January 24th, there is both a boys and girls varsity game. Planning is underway for Fan Appreciation Night for both teams.  Game Day Programs- Brad Wick o Programs will be printed by the school and delivered to the games.  Special Booster Meeting o Minutes from the last meeting were provided and 4 areas of focus were determined. Brad W. plans to obtain 2 volunteers for a small committee for each of these four areas. No decisions will be made at the small committee level. All info will be brought to the Booster Club. Brad is in the process of seeking out individuals to set up the small committees. If any members are interested in participating on a committee, they are to contact Brad. LeeAnn suggested that the Booster look at a timeline for the committees. New Business  Westphal Family o In lieu of Nick’s diagnosis, the Booster Club discussed ideas of how to help the family in this difficult time. Brad and Jeff K. will work with Mike Stagman at the youth level to see what is needed.



VP Position o Lisa Thoe has resigned from the WHBC Vice-President position. This was a 2 year term. Brad stated that the club will be looking for nominations and vote at a subsequent meeting.  Bylaws o Jeff Kraus inquired about the progress on the WHBC bylaws. Brad said that he has a working draft and will be looking for volunteers to assist with it. Anyone interested in to contact Brad. Jeff Kraus said that he is willing to help.  Adjourn  Motion to Adjourn / 2ND / Approved- Meeting was adjourned at 7:23pm.
