Board Minute Approval September Board Meeting minutes approved New Business Next year registration – Setting reg dates for next year April 21, 25, 18th at Belmont Sports Complex Banner Up from 4/14-4/28 Sergio to reserve reg dates, banner dates, next year BoD, and Ref training Division’s reports: ongoing season - DC’s 8UG – all good 7/8UB - all good 10UG - all good 10UB – all good 12UG - all good 12UB - all good 14UBG- all good 16UB - all good New webmaster contract – Zeljko Discussed and agreed Yearbook report – Jen 6x Color Yearbook 9x Propose to go black&white and color PDF to cut the price in half 2x PDF (color) only Sponsorships update – Cristen Exceeded target! Most sponsor plaques received and being delivered to sponsors through coaches Challenger coaches update – Jaime Coaches are engaging well and making a difference Playoffs 10UB – 16 teams Round 1 4th&5th – eight go forward (World Cup format) Round 2 eight teams (single elimination) 10UG Double elimination Saturday&Sunday both weekends 12U
Scott has constructed schedules to be shared 14U Three teams. Three games played Referee and coaches training update – Avery, Jaime Intermediate Referee class likely for Jan/Feb Will not repeat Regional Referee class near registration Working to provide more Intermediate Coach training Open positions ● Equipment – Jerry Lee as of October 2017 ● Winter Select Round table DCs need to setup ratings meetings in first two weeks of November Trophies ordered Turkey tournament information ready for distribution Please send photos for yearbook to Jenn Botts
