[email protected]; 610-436-2152 Jad Prachniak completed his first year at West Chester University, winning the PSAC East regular season, PSAC Tournament, Atlantic Regional and WCU’s first NCAA Division II National Championship along the way. West Chester also became the first NCAA program to win a Baseball National Championship at any level in the state of PA. The Golden Rams finished with a 46-10 record which tied a school record for wins. The program was recognized with many post season accolades including the PSAC East Player of The Year, Pitcher of the Year and Coach of the Year. Two Golden Rams were named All Americans and Prachniak was named the 2012 ABCA National Coach of the Year. Prior to arriving at West Chester, Prachniak served as an assistant coach at the College of William & Mary (2005-2011). While at William & Mary, Prachniak taught at camps throughout the country including U.S Naval Academy Baseball Leadership Camp (Annapolis, MD), and Stanford All-Star Camp (Palo Alto, CA). Prachniak played collegiately at the University of Rhode Island (2001-2004), where he pitched and was named a Captain during his Senior year. He graduated with a degree in Kinesiology with teaching certification.
