JOE COUTINHO • New Jersey City University Senior • Right Field • Colonia, NJ/Colonia Coutinho becomes the second Gothic Knight in three weeks to earn NJAC Player of the Week after putting up huge offensive numbers in a 4-2 week. He went 10-for-20 (.500) with 13 RBIs, four runs scored, three doubles, one home run, three drawn walks, and three stolen bases. He put together a .800 slugging percentage. He went a combined 3-for-6 with three RBIs in a doubleheader sweep of St. Joseph’s (LI) in nonconference action. He registered three hits and three RBIs in a twinbill split with Rowan. After one hit in the opening setback to Rutgers-Camden, he exploded for a career-high five RBIs on 3-for-3 hitting to lead NJCU to a win over the Scarlet Raptors in the nightcap. Coutinho is currently ranked in the top three in the NJAC in: batting average (3rd; .379), slugging percentage (2nd; .565), RBIs (3rd; 38), and doubles (2nd; 13).
PITCHER OF THE WEEK
JERRY D’ANDREA • Ramapo College Junior • Pitcher • Ridgewood, NJ/Ridgewood D’Andrea becomes the second Roadrunner this season to earn NJAC Pitcher of the Week. He picked up a two-hit shutout win over Montclair, striking out eight and walking just one in 8.2 innings of work. The win was key as the Roadrunners wrapped up a share of the regular season NJAC title. D’Andrea ranks fourth among all NJAC pitchers with a 2.22 ERA this season, and is sixth with a conference-only ERA of 1.83.

BILL FEEHAN • New Jersey City University Freshman • Left Field • Point Pleasant, NJ/Point Pleasant Boro Feehan earns his third and NJCU’s fourth overall NJAC Rookie of the Week honor after helping the Gothic Knights to a 4-2 record in the final week of a regular season. He went 8-for-17 (.471) with six RBIs and seven runs scored. The rookie reached base in every game either by hit, walk, or hit by pitch. He went a combined 3-for-4 with four RBIs, a home run, and four drawn walks in a doubleheader sweep of St. Joseph’s (LI). He went 2-for-4 with two RBIs in NJCU’s 5-4 upset of Rowan, and reached base twice on hit-by-pitches in the nightcap of the twinbill with the Profs. He went a combined 3-for-7 in a split with Rutgers-Camden. Feehan leads the NJAC in on-base percentage (.486) and is batting a solid .320 in his rookie campaign.
ROOKIE PITCHER OF THE WEEK
NICK KLEFTOGIANNIS • The College of New Jersey Freshman • Pitcher • Cherry Hill, NJ/Cherry Hill West Kleftogiannis earns his second straight and TCNJ’s third straight NJAC Rookie Pitcher of the Week honor after picking up a conference win over William Paterson. He tossed two scoreless innings in relief against the Pioneers to earn the win, striking out one, walking none, and yielding three hits. The win helped TCNJ to a share of the regular season conference title and top seed in the tournament. Earlier in the week, he threw two innings in a loss to Gwynedd Mercy, allowing two hits and one run. Kleftogiannis sports a 1.45 ERA in 18.2 innings this season.
