PLAYER OF THE WEEK
RYAN PAVLIK • Rowan University Junior • Outfielder • Blackwood, NJ/Highland Regional Pavlik becomes the third different Prof to earn NJAC Player of the Week honors after hitting .545 (12-for-22) with five RBI, four stolen bases, and five runs scored for No. 11 ranked Rowan. He hit safely in all six games and opened the week by going 3-for-3 with two RBI and three runs scored during a 15-1 victory over Neumann. Just one day later, he went 2-for-5 with two RBI, and one run scored during a 16-1 NJAC victory in game one of a double header series over NJCU. Just one day later, he went 3-for-3 with one RBI and drew two walks during a 5-1 NJAC victory in game two at NJCU. He wrapped up the week by going a combined 4-for-11 with one run scored during a 6-3 extra inning defeat and 4-3 victory double header split against Montclair. Pavlik currently leads the NJAC in hits this season (50).
PITCHER OF THE WEEK
MICHAEL MACCHIA • Montclair State University Sophomore • Left-Handed Pitcher • Middletown, NJ/Middletown North Macchia earns NJAC Pitcher of the Week honors after pitching the first shutout of his sophomore campaign. He surrendered just four hits and walked one in nine innings of work while striking out five batters during a 4-0 NJAC victory over TCNJ. Macchia currently ranks third in the NJAC in earned run average (1.15).

JOE BROOKS • Rutgers University-Camden Freshman • Designated Hitter • Blackwood, NJ/Gloucester Catolic Brooks earns NJAC Rookie of the Week honors for the fourth time this season and third consecutive week after hitting .500 (9-for-18) with two RBI, two walks, and two runs scored during a 3-2 week for the Scarlet Raptors. He opened the week by going 2-for-4 with one run scored during a 11-10 defeat to DeSales. He then went a combined 2-for-7 with one run scored during a 6-4 and 2-1 NJAC double header sweep over Richard Stockton. He wrapped up the week by going a combined 5-for-7 with two RBI, and drew two walks, while adding six putouts and three assists defensively during a 6-2 defeat and 6-3 victory double header split against TCNJ. Brooks currently leads the NJAC in batting average this season (.431).
ROOKIE PITCHER OF THE WEEK
CHAS BOHANNON • Rutgers-Newark Freshman • Right-Handed Pitcher • Springfield, NJ/Jonathan Dayton Bohannon earns NJAC Rookie Pitcher of the Week honors after helping the Scarlet Raiders to a 3-1 week of play. He did not allow a single hit or run in two innings pitched during a 3-2 NJAC victory over Ramapo in game one of a double header series against the Roadrunners. Two days later, he had another no-hit, no-run performance in two innings of work during a 2-1 NJAC victory over Richard Stockton. Bohannon currently ranks fourth in the NJAC in opposing batting average (.172).
