FALLBROOK POP WARNER EXECUTIVE BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEETING MINUTES FROM August 18th, 2016 The formal meeting of the Fallbrook Pop Warner Board of Directors was called to order at 6:14pm by President of the Board Erik Benitez held at Potter Junior High School Classroom 51. Review / Approve last minutes meeting from July 27th meeting. Minutes were approved by Kerry and Seconded by Zoe. Board Members

With our webmaster submitting his resignation we have had an opening to the board. Maryann Collings has offered to step in to this spot. Update from Palomar Conference: Fees for referring have gone up: o Tackle Football $58.00 per ref (3) refs per game = $174.00 PL3 o Flag Football $52.00 per ref (2) refs per game = $104.00 PL3 o Refs are paid at the end of the game written a check to them. Rule Books: All head coaches and business managers now have their own rule books and any changes to last year rules have been shown in red. PDF version of the rules book. FPW BOD has a few left over for board members. See Erik if you choose to read or borrow one. All League Fees for Palomar have been paid. 6/14/2016 $2860.00 PL4 All forms submitted to Palomar Conference for Round Robin have been approved as submitted. Possible changes to 2017 season. JMM discussion of going down to 8 man teams. 12 man rosters. Business Managers meeting was held at Fallbrook Library August 10th 2016. All but one BM attended the meeting. 90 BM’s. Weight Certification was held in Temecula at Chaparral High School. Many volunteers from other leagues were there to help manage the weigh ins. President and Secretary volunteered. Reminder that no pets are allowed on visiting fields. FPW will send reminder emails.

Mexico City Pop Warner or the equal to has reached out to California this year for possible games. FPW has said yes we would support and offer fields for the Mexican Independence Game to be held on Fallbrook High Field Turf on September 15th game would be played JPW and immediately after Freshman game under the lights. More info to come. Challenger League- Erik has ordered Sponsor patches. 25 in the pack. FPW has sponsored 3 players from Fallbrook. $140.00 TF10
Coaches Agent:
Schedule is out for the first 4 Pre-Season Games: o FPW has home games the following schedule: August 20, 27 and October 15. FPW has also secured fields for a possible home game on November 5th.. High School came to us and said fields were open and if we wanted to secure these fields we could. Updated practice schedule: o Labor Day – Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 5:30 – 8:00. Reminder to all on August 23rd Potter is have Back to School Night and the fields will be closed. FPW is asking for coaches to seek for scrimmages and play elsewhere this date. Weekly Scores to be turned into Palomar no later than 10:00 pm game days. Badges- For all future uses we need to purchase additional lanyards or similar neck collars to issue to all coaches staff. Office Supplies- OS4
Equipment Manager:
One XL Helmet was order for Pee Wee Player. Riddell Invoice TF7 Riddell Debts. $1000.00 outstanding bill. To be paid in September bills. May need to purchase sport bottle carriers and bottles. Need to inventory and add to inventory sheet.
Player Agent:
Head Coaches Books are all completed. Business Managers Books are all completed. Need to validate League One rosters no later than 8/25/2016. Kerry to begin to certify this and Erik to do a final signature and then send to Denise for final certification of all books and weights.
Fundraiser Coordinator:
Vacant Spot. FPW BOD shall begin to look for future large capital expense items to create an operating budget for upcoming seasons and build stronger programs.
