Bloomsburg University Cross Country/Track & Field Teams

February has been a busy month for the Huskies thus far, beginning with a two-day meet at Youngstown State in Ohio, where Dave Lauscar completed his first ever heptathlon and qualified for the PSAC meet in the event! Though he is completely new to the jumping and throwing events, Dave’s athleticism carried him to an outstanding debut! Freshman Alaina Pearson lit up the jumping events at the following Bucknell Tune-Up meet, where she qualified for PSACs in both the pole vault and the triple jump. Her jump in the pole vault was a whole 10 inches higher than her previous collegiate best. The Susquehanna Open meet saw many solid performances and personal bests, including an all-time personal best toss in the weight throw for senior, Hannah Masenheimer. Her throw shattered her previous personal best by almost a foot and a half! Freshman Hunter Jarratt also recorded a phenomenal run in the 800m at Susquehanna, where his converted time of 1:56.70 ranks him in the top 8 in the conference!
