IJM Global Prayer Gathering March 3-4, 2017
Washington D.C
North Park is the lead partner for International Justice Mission’s work of reducing child sexual assault and of securing vital citizenships for Hill Tribe Members in Northern Thailand. Khem Saksakamunghkon, the Field Director for the IJM Thailand office, is our friend and partner. Khem attends the annual IJM Global Prayer Gathering annually in Washington and North Park has the opportunity to spend considerable time with Khem The GPG as it is known is the global gathering of leaders and voices from the IJM community who come together to share stories of how the staff and clients of IJM are fighting injustice around the world. People who attend GPG find themselves stepping into the dark realities of a world where Jesus longs to bring justice. From trafficking, to child slavery to child sexual abuse…there is a battle raging for the hearts of people and as followers of Jesus we have a responsibility to go forward with our passion and gifts to make a difference in that battle. IJM understands the power of prayer and hosts the Global Prayer Gathering as a result. Over the past few years North Park has sent over 35 people to GPG, including many leaders and young adults. Come and join us at GPG in early March. The cost is generally about $700 and includes transportation meals and accommodations. Funding is potentially available for those who would need it. Contact
