OPENING: Jason Kerns, NPPB President, called the meeting to order at 7:35 p.m.

APPROVAL OF MINUTES: Kevin Wright reported an amendment made to the previous financial report presented at the General Association meeting on September 14, 2016. A duplicate expense was found in the report, so the net income changed from a negative $1,601 to a positive $16,736.60 for the 201516 fiscal year. Jason Kerns made a motion to approve the amended minutes. The motion was second and approved as presented.

BOARD/ADVISORY COUNCIL APPROVALS: The following nominations for Advisory Council were approved: Geoff Combe, Player/Coach Development Advisor and Jaisen Bishop, Pinto Black Player Agent. The following changes to the Advisory Council were also approved: Mat Wesner – previously Mustang Gold Player Agent to Pinto Gold Player Agent; Bryan Herring – previously Pinto Gold Player Agent to Mustang Gold Player Agent; Doug Tuxill – previously Pinto Black Player Agent to Mustang Black Player Agent. ADVISORY COUNCIL: Fall Ball Update: George Helmer presented the fall ball update. Fall season is going well. Almost all teams have full rosters. Couple umpire no-shows at beginning of season, but no issues since. Have agreed to disagree on some Agoura vs. NP rules (lead-offs in Mustang), playing “home team” rules. No scheduling issues (there have been a couple issues w/ Agoura & CVLL, but NP has all been spot on). Have been checking in w/ managers, and walking by on occasion on Sundays. Need to re-iterate about field prep post games, most fields good. Have been couple instance of holes not filled on Mustang. OLD BUSINESS: A. Netting Update: Jason Kerns reported that the nets at DV will be going up in the next couple weeks. There was a discussion about looking into nets for over the backstop area as well. B. League Player Projections/Manager Recruitment Discussion: Bob Grieder computed the league player and team projections for the upcoming season. The numbers are as follow:

Tracey Huff will update and send last year’s manager contacts to the Division Directors so they can start reaching out to potential managers. C. Colt Division Update: Jason Kerns reported that CRPD is not interested in converting the Bronco field to a Colt field this year. He is hoping for more discussion on this topic for the following year. 6.
NEW BUSINESS: A. Jason Kerns asked if anyone is familiar with creating a Facebook group page. He will contact Eric Horne for advice. B. Geoff Combe presented the possibility of holding a golf tournament as a league fundraiser. He will look into the details and possibly secure a date for March 2017.
