Minor hurling Championship Valley Rovers V Carrigtwohill Valley Rovers had a hard fought but well deserved win over Carrigtwohill in the Premier 2 Minor Hurling Championship on a score line of 2-15 to 3-10. Valleys dominated possession in the first half but only lead at half time 1-06 to 104. A few positional switches made by Valleys at Half time had the desired effect and they made better use of possession in this half. The concession of two goals ensured they had an anxious final few moments but they held on to advance to meet Watergrasshill in the Quarter Final. The team lined out as follows: Conor O Sullivan. Joseph Lynch, Tim Cummins, Tim Casey Aidan Walsh, John Cottrell, Antony McCarthy Darragh Murphy, Joseph Lynch Tomas O'Brien, Gary Farrell, Jason Crowley Derek Canty, Eoin Fallon, Tim Lehane Sub David Healy for Tim Lehane Scores: Gary Farrell 2-02, Jason Crowley 0-07, Derek Canty 0-04, Eoin Fallon 0-01, Tim Lehane 0-01 Minor Hurling League Valleys lost to Courcey Rovers in minor hurling league on Monday 25th Jul in Ballinspittle by a goal 1-14 to 0-14 The Team lined out as follows: Conor O'Sullivan, Joseph Lynch, Tim Cummins, Robert Sweetnam, Aidan Walsh, John Cottrell, Anthony McCarthy, Tomas O'Brien, Joe Lynch, Eoin Fallon, Gary Farrell, David Healy, Timmy Lehane, Derek Canty, Donncha O'Driscoll.
