Sacred Heart Reception Newsletter Issue 6– Friday 13th October Thank you for all your donations for Reception W’s cake sale this week. We will be able to buy some lovely resources for our classroom with the donations. We have Reception B’s cake sale on Thursday 19th and any donations would be greatly appreciated again. Thank You for your continued support. Reception Class Learning Update! We have been thinking about 2D shapes this week and went on a shape hunt around school. Our literacy focus has been on Stickman/Autumn—labelling autumn pictures and identifying initial sounds. We have continued with our phonics and numbers every day.

So...what has happened in Reception Class this week? We carried out our first class liturgies.
We practiced looking for shapes around school, and used technology to take pictures of what we found. We even made our bodies into shapes in PE! We were great working as a team to solve the problems.
