Swim Team and Booster Club Registration Information How to get your Booster Membership Discount: To receive the Booster Membership Discount, you must join the PV Sharks Booster Club at a level (Nurse Shark or higher) where at least $125 per swimmer is designated towards the swim team. Please take a look at the PV Sharks Booster Club Membership Chart for detailed information on how each level of membership can benefit you. Booster memberships are tax deductible. Please note that a minimum of $75 goes to the general booster fund. The remaining balance will go towards the sports you list and the amount you designate per sport.
Examples: 1 Swimmer :
Total Swim Team Registration Fee = $250 Nurse Shark Level Booster Membership = $200 Booster Membership Amount designated to support SWIM = $125 New Total Swim Team Registration Fee = $125 New Total Swim Team Registration Fee $125 + $200 Booster Membership = $325 (Check payable to PVSBC)
2 Swimmers:
Total Swim Team Registration Fee = $500 Mako Shark Level Booster Membership = #$375 Booster Membership Amount designated for the swim team = $250 ($125 per swimmer) New Total Swim Team Registration Fee = $250 New Total Swim Team Registration Fee $250 + $375 Booster Membership = $625 (check payable to PVSBC)
Note—A minimum of $75 from your membership goes into the general booster fund. In this example, there is $50 remaining that can either go towards swim team, another sport or the general fund. Only $125 per swimmer can be deducted from your swim fees, the remaining amount ($50 in the 2-swimmers example above) will be a much appreciated charitable donation to the team.
