CONDITIONS OF ENTRY 1. Team members must be financial members of a Pony Club, 25years and under. Must have done required rallies per NZPCA rally rules. (NZPCA General Regulations Cl 15.4) 2. NZPC 65cm/NZPC 80cm class is open to all riders who have not competed on their nominated mount above NZPC 80cm in any previous season or the current season and who have not entered their nominated mount in any event above NZPC 80cm for the current season. 3. NZPC 95cm - NO Rider/Horse Combination that has EVER entered at 1.10cm/Novice HT level will be allowed. This includes ALL Rider/Horse combinations not just the A1’s. Riders over 17 years / A1’s may compete on another horse as long as the combination has never ridden 1.05cm or above. 2018 DC Champs Rider/Horse combinations, whether in the Team or riding as an individual are NOT eligible to compete but may enter on another horse……Please refer to Rule #1 above. All NZPC 95cm Riders that are competing in the 2018 NZPCA Champs Team/Individual are welcome. 4. Teams consist of up to four riders, of which the three best scores are counted for overall prize and all 4 will be counted in dressage. 5. Draft riders can be put forward to make up teams. 6. Teams may consist of members from a different branch; branches may enter more than one team (for NZPC 65cm/NZPC 80cm) Only one NZPC 95cm team per branch (except for Manukau District Teams) This may change depending on entries, please contact me. Teams may have a theme/matching outfits etc for XC and showjumping phases. They may wear jackets or PC uniform for dressage phase. 7. No dogs on the grounds or elimination of the team will result.
8. The NZPC 65cm/NZPC 80cm event is run at 65cm to 80cm levels with options at all cross-country jumps. No penalties will be awarded to those taking the smaller options. 9. For NZPC 65cm/NZPC 80cm there will be two show jumping arenas at 65cm and 80cm. Each rider may only jump one height. Penalty for jumping two courses will be elimination. 10. For NZPC 95cm, one show jumping course of 95cm and XC at 95cm. 11. For NZPC 65cm/NZPC 80cm there will be one Dressage test for all riders, being Eventing Test L1. The dress code may be pony club uniform or jackets. TESTS MAY NOT BE CALLED. This is to comply with eventing rules set by NZPCA and ESNZ. 12. For NZPC 95cm Riders one dressage Test for all riders Eventing Test A2 13. Approved helmets must be worn at all times when mounted. All helmets must have blue NZPCA approved tag. Long sleeves must be worn for the jumping phases. Team Gear checks will be held for all phases, managers must be present. 14. Each MDPC team must include 1 helper per rider for the day. Names and numbers must be supplied on your entry form so that jobs may be allocated before the day. All other teams must supply two helpers per team as cross-country jump judges. 15. Entry fee for NZPC 65cm/NZPC 80cm $200.00 per team. Entry fee for NZPC 95cm $220.00 per team. All riders ride at their own risk. No refunds given without a veterinarian or doctor certificate, $10 admin fee will be charged. Entries close strictly at 5pm, Sunday 8th April 2018. There will be an online fee of $3.00 per horse. 16. All team members must be present for prize giving presentations at the end of the day, mounted and in team colours. 17. PRIZES: Trophy awarded to the 65cm/80cm overall winning team; Trophy awarded to top 65cm/80cm MDPC team; Trophy for the best performing Auckland under 13 rider: Shield for team
