A few notes about Divisionals The divisional meet is the largest meet where all of our swimmers can participate. Due to the size of the meet, Divisionals runs longer than any of the previous meets. Please be prepared to be at the meet until 5 p.m. Extra snacks and drinks are necessary to keep swimmers fueled and ready for events. Since this meet will also be indoors, swimmers will need extra towels and blankets to keep warm and comfortable in the a/c. Due to the in-door set up, families are asked to only bring two chairs. There will not be age group tents, but 8 and unders will be in an age group area. Blankets are great for the kids to lounge on. Please keep all walkways clear and be respectful of the school grounds. Spectator space is limited, so please no “camping” in the stands. Expect a crowd! Please come and go to watch your swimmer’s events.

Coaches Corner We are so proud of our Shockwaves!! Don’t forget: All swimmers need to eat healthy and fuel their bodies during the meet. Remember, this meet is much longer, so take time to refuel as you go! We want to also encourage our swimmers that qualify for an invitational to swim that invitational. They are so much more fun when we have lots of swimmers there, and we can swim relays, too!
Summer Thunder Results Congratulations to Ashton Moser, Eryn Quirsfeld, Leo Leopold, and Alyx McLain for high individual scores at the Summer Thunder Invitational. Thanks to all swimmers and families that participated.
Congratulations to Eryn Quirsfeld who got 2nd at the Pentathlon Invitational for her age group! Also congratulations to Alyx McLain who was the youngest female to complete the Pentathlon legally!

Invitational Meets Invitational Meets are optional meets, held mid and end-of-season that are open to swimmers reaching a certain level of competition. Swimmers must meet qualifying times in order to participate. Qualifying times vary depending on the Invitational. These meets offer a fantastic opportunity for our families and swimmers to compete at a higher level. Shockwaves will pay the entry fee for relays. However, individual event entry fees are paid by the swimmer.

Procedure at Invitationals Please note that when participating in an Invitational Meet, you may be asked to assist with timing. As we all know, meets of any size cannot run well without parent volunteers. When the Shockwaves participate as a team, we may be required to provide help with timing. Even if your family has met your volunteer points, please be flexible and prepared to help if needed so our swimmers can have an amazing experience!
Klein Oak High School 22603 Northcrest Dr., Spring, TX 77389 If your swimmer has qualified and you would like to participate in the Ponderosa or the Red, White, and Blue Meet, Erin Bingham will be taking payments at Divisionals until the end of the meet. If your swimmer qualifies at divisionals, please see her as soon as possible. Do not wait until the meet is over.
