Grand Rapids Mich Farmr Village P.O March 29/66 Dear Brother Yours of the 24th came to hand by this days mail and contents noticed. I am glad to hear you intend to come East this summer. Thus I hope things will so shape that you can arrange the matters. I never have had the discharge of the Mortgage you hold put on record, or either do I wish to. I want you to hold it just as it is & claim it to be good to you for the amt due on it, in case you should be asked any questions, and when you come out bring it along with you. As you say about the P.O. its but a damage to me- if I had not have had it, should have been better off. And think. Almost every day I will assign, & then it brings in a little something and as you say pleasant to have it on some accounts. Helen3 is now at Aurora. Expect her home today.
