Opening Kick The Bullets play their second-straight nationallyranked opponent as they host No. 10 Johns Hopkins in a Centennial Conference tilt this evening. All-Time Series The Blue Jays lead the Bullets 17-13-1 in the all-time series that started in 1992. Johns Hopkins won last year's meeting after Gettysburg had captured the previous two contests. Last Time Out Swarthmore scored one goal in each half and the 23rd-ranked and host Garnet handed the Bullets a 2-0 setback this past Saturday. The Garnet outshot the Bullets 22-6, but freshman goalie Kerry Sammon made six saves for the Bullets. Gettysburg's defense held the Centennial Conference's leading scorer, Marin McCoy, scoreless on four shots. McCoy entered the night with 15 goals. Last Meeting with Johns Hopkins Kiera Loftus made a career-high 11 saves, but Gettysburg dropped a 4-0 decision at 16th-ranked Johns Hopkins in the regular-season finale for both teams last year. Loftus shut out the Blue Jays while making seven saves in the first half, when she faced a 12shot attack. The hosts broke through in the second period, when four different players found the back of the net. Clara Aranguren made four saves over 80 minutes for Hopkins. Twice is Nice Sophomore Charlotte Cenatiempo has enjoyed a memorable pair of games recently, pulling off the rare feat of scoring a golden goal in back-to-back games. First, she netted the game-winner with 1:12 left in the second overtime to give the Bullets a 1-0 victory at Muhlenberg. She followed up this past Wednesday by scoring 3:26 into overtime of a 2-1 victory over Susquehanna. Her tally versus the Mules earned her Centennial Conference Offensive Player of the Week recognition.

Spreading the Wealth The Bullets have received offensive contributions from a number of sources this year, as 11 different players have accounted for the team's 25 goals. Junior Samantha Esposito, sophomore Charlotte Cenatiempo, and sophomore Isabel Klatt have scored four goals each while junior Lauren Miesemer has tallied three times. In addition, seven different Bullets have handed out an assist, including senior Maddie Heaney, who leads the team with five helpers. Getting Defensive Gettysburg has allowed more than two goals in a match just once this season and has posted four shutouts. In one of the team's most impressive defensive showings, the Bullets held The College of New Jersey, ranked No. 3 at the time, to over three goals below their season average in a 1-0 loss. Freshman Kerry Sammon has played every minute in goal and has piled up 56 saves, including a season-high eight at TCNJ. Scouting the Blue Jays Johns Hopkins carries a six-game winning streak into tonight's match, capped by a 6-0 victory at Ursinus this past Saturday. Senior Michelle Santangelo netted a hat trick, scoring three goals for the Blue Jays. She leads the team with 12 goals while freshman Riley O'Toole has added 10 tallies. Senior Bess Kitzmiller has played the majority of the minutes in goal, going 8-2-1 with a 0.67 goals-against average, while sophomore Robyn Lipschultz has yet to allow a goal while going 5-0.
