Why tortoise has a shell
At the crack of dawn, in the land of Tinga Tinga,there was a tortoise he lived under the great coconut tree. With all of his helpful friends called: Elephant and three Monkeys. While the sun shone on the beautiful planes, the tortoise was drinking coconut milk under his tree.While the other animals were singing songs .
Tortoise was lacking on the inside but on the outside he was trying to fit in. The reason why he was sad was because his best friend Elephant kept on standing on him. Elephant didn't mean to stand on him was because tortoise was slow and Elephant was clumsy to notice him. But every night when he went to bed the ants kept on biting his lovely, soft green coat
And the next morning when the sun rose tortoise got up and he went to elephant and said "Can you squeeze some sticky milk on my back please" "Why, have those ants been biting you again?" Replied Elephant and while they were talking Elephant squeezed sticky milk on his back "Ahhh that is nice thank you Elephant" "It's ok now you should get some sleep now bye."said Elephant
Tortoise was sleeping under the coconut tree when he heard someone saying "tortoise, tortoise wake up and elephant helped him up."Are you sure you want a shell" whispered elephant in hope nobody heard him " Yes I'm sure" "Ok" and elephant picked a coconut on the tree and then... SMASH "Tortoise you you got a shell" "Do I " "Yes let's go and show the other
Now the next morning he looked at his shell no bite marks "what a relief" he said and walked out from under his tree and went to show hippo when he was there hippo said "tortoise is that you" "Yes hippo what do you think of my new shell" "It's brilliant." And then tortoise lived happily ever
