Dynamic Committee Field Committee Chair: Requirements for position: Recommended to position by Pres & confirmed either by vote of BOD or appointment by BOD. (Appointment is on temp status until either replacement is found and or end of current term.) Seasonal job Election for Field Chair will be held each season, during the first board meeting following the conclusion n of the regular season play. (This will typically be the 2 nd Friday of June and December.) Background and general knowledge of game/rules & laws Background and general knowledge of goals, their construction, regulations of, safety of Background Check with profile picture on FCB registration site Knowledge of field dimensions for each age group/division, (or a resource to obtain this information). Reports to/Replaced by: Reports to the BOD / President Replaced by longest serving committee member on a temporary status until Exe Dir. / BOD can find replacement. (all pending BOD approval) Trains and educates committee member/another coordinator to assume job should it be required due to death, disability or removal General Roles, Duties, & Responsibilities: Does not have any voting privileges Coordinates with committee members/volunteers to setup and teardown fields on game days Recruits and Coordinates volunteers to assist with field work Builds fields one or two weeks prior to the first scheduled games Ensure fields are striped prior to each week’s games Game Day & Addition Duties/Wants: Guides all tasked volunteers to accomplish field setup and take down. Submits hrs. of volunteers and gets volunteers from proper committee Ensures all activities and sub committees are following FCB guidelines and safety Tasks or performs field safety checks to ensure risk management is performed on fields. Check in at the Red Tent each game day to see if anything needs to be addressed.
