Dynamic Committee Sponsorship Committee Chair: Requirements for position: Recommended to position by Pres & confirmed either by vote of BOD or appointment by BOD. (Appointment is on temp status until either replacement is found and or end of current term) Seasonal job Election for Sponsorship Chair will be held each season, during the first board meeting following the conclusion of the regular season play. (This will typically be the 2 nd Friday of June and December.) General knowledge of community and businesses Ability to communicate well with the public Problem solving skills Conflict resolution skills Organization skills Must own a laptop or computer for digital record keeping Reports to/Replaced by: Reports to BOD/ President Replaced by longest serving member of Committee on a temporary status until President appoints replacement from BOD (all pending BOD approval) General Roles, Duties & Responsibilities: seek out sponsors; old and new keep paper work of all committee members Work closely with Registrar, Treasure, Scholarship Chair, and Uniform/Picture Chair Organize paperwork/applications and create a digital copy Serves as the point of contact for all sponsors Receives and stores all sponsor logos Provides any needed sponsor data or logos to other board members as requested to complete their job duties Communicate with picture committee (for sponsorship plaques) Distributes the sponsor plaques to the sponsors within two weeks of the end-of-season party. *Assistance from the other BOD is highly encouraged. (If a board member has a personal relationship with a sponsor, it is recommended for them to present the Sponsor plaques themselves.) Presents a monthly report to BOD Game Day & Additional Duties/Wants: Ensures all Sponsorship signage is placed in sponsor area, and is visible and clean. Establishes a presence at Red Tent to assist parties interested in sponsoring a team/FCB Answers questions/ concerns of current sponsors and reports issues to membership Check in at the Red Tent each game day to see if anything needs to be addressed.
