After finishing 1-2 on their 3-game road trip, the Edgewood College women’s basketball team returns to the Edgedome for the first time in two weeks to face Rockford.

The Eagles went to the free throw line 38 times, but Aurora University outscored them, 28-18, in the fourth period to claim a 77-62 victory on January 13 at Thornton Gymnasium. Delaney Wilhelm scored 14 points, and Brooke Lonigro posted a career-high 12 points as the Eagles dropped their third consecutive game. Diamond Pikulyk scored 18 points with 10 boards as the Eagles let their fourth quarter lead slip away at Lakeland, 63-54, on Tuesday night. Pikuly added a career-high 23 as the Eagle offense shot a season-high 54 percent in win at Alveno, 79-65.

About the Regents Rockford has lost its last five games and are now 4-13, 2-10 NACC. Nicole Silvers leads the Regents at 10.9 ppg and is shooting 90.3 percent at the free throw line. Offensively, they average just 49.8 points on 30.1 percent shooting.
