‘Could’, ‘would like’ ‘Could’ is a polite way to request something from another person.

‘Would like’ is a polite way to say you want something.
I would like a glass of water. She would like to order some food.

‘A’, ‘An’ and ‘The’ ‘A’, ‘an’ and’ the’ are articles. They tell us what we are talking about. ‘The’ tells us about one thing in particular. The first time you speak of something use ‘a’ or ‘an’, the next time you repeat that object use ‘the’.
