GRAMMAR
Title? Participles as adjectives Adjectives with -ed or -ing endings are known as PARTICIPIAL ADJECTIVES, because they have the same endings as verb participles. There are two Types, the past –ed, and present forms -ing:
EG:-
Interested Interesting Entertained Entertaining
Bored Boring Annoyed Annoying
Like normal verbs participle adjectives also have irregular forms.

Title? Present participle adjectives serve as the cause of feelings or emotions And are formed from active verbs (ing):
EG: She was entertaining the family (active verb) She was entertaining (Present participle adj) You can tell if it is a present participle adjective by changing the sentence to include an extra auxiliary verb:-

EG: “The family was entertained by the girl” (passive verb) “The family was entertained.” (Past participle adj) You can tell if it is a present participle adjective by changing the sentence to include an extra auxiliary verb:-
“She IS Entertaining”
