Upload GIBc17-2. The project team has uploaded a commitment letter, signed and dated on owner or developer letterhead, stating that all properties within the project boundary will meet all of the following requirements: 1) In residential areas, if included, at least 50% of the external luminaires will have fixtureintegrated lighting controls that use motion sensors to reduce light levels by at least 50% when no activity has been detected for 15 minutes. 2) In shared areas (all except residential areas): • All shared area lighting will have automatic controls that turn off exterior lighting either when there is sufficient daylight or when it is not needed during nighttime hours. • All shared area lighting will meet the light trespass requirements of the adjacent lighting zone. • All shared area lighting will meet the uplight limitations of the most stringent lighting zone within or adjacent to the project. • All non-exempt shared area lighting will meet the total lighting power density (LPD) requirements of the applicable lighting zone. Upload GIBc17-6. The project team has uploaded CC&Rs or equivalent documents that demonstrate that all properties within the project boundary will be required to adhere to the requirements of this credit; or, a commitment to provide CC&Rs, signed and dated on owner or developer letterhead. Upload GIBc17-1 . The project team has uploaded a site plan or vicinity map of the project and surrounding areas. The plan or map should clearly label all lighting zones within and adjacent to the project boundary for both residential and shared areas and should call out the land uses in each zone. Upload GIBc17-4. The project team has uploaded a site plan showing the location of all exterior lighting fixtures with designation, and the extents of each shared area with labels. Upload GIBc17-5. The project team has uploaded a fixture schedule with brief descriptions of lamp information for all fixtures, automatic daylight controls for exterior shared area fixtures, and motion sensor information for fixtures used in residential areas. Indicate which fixtures are exempt and why, as per the requirements of Table 3 of this credit in the Rating System. Upload GIBc17-6. The project team has uploaded CC&Rs or equivalent documents that demonstrate that all properties within the project boundary will be required to adhere to the requirements of this credit; or, a commitment to provide CC&Rs, signed and dated on owner or developer letterhead. Automatic Controls All shared area lighting will have automatic controls that turn off exterior lighting either when there is sufficient daylight or when it is not needed during nighttime hours. Light Trespass All shared area lighting will meet the light trespass limitations of the most stringent lighting zone adjacent to the shared area (adjacent zone may be within or outside the project boundary). Select one of the following: The project team is documenting compliance with the light trespass requirements through software calculations. The project team is documenting compliance with the light trespass requirements through backlight ratings. Table GIBc17-2.
