Dear Parents: Happy New Year! I truly hope it was a wonderful vacation for all our families. I had some challenges at the start of our time off but ended the last day in the most delightful of ways. On January 2, 2017 we welcomed out first grandchild Quentin Michael Curtis-Smallwood into our family. He weighed 7lbs 6oz and is 21 inches long. He’s beautiful and along with his parents is doing well. We praise and thank God for his safe delivery. Thank you to all who contributed so generously to our school gifts. We are ready for cold and flu season as well as lots of arts and crafts projects! Also, thank you to all who gave so generously to the staff. We are truly blessed to work in a loving, caring environment and we appreciate all your support.

Color of the month is blue.

Pajama Party Day January 12th & 13th Students are encouraged to wear their pjs to school. Some children may be concerned about wearing their pjs to school because it is out of their routine. Let them know even their teachers will be in their jammies that day. If it’s a big deal, don't force them. You can tuck a pair of pjs in a bag and when they get to school and see everyone else in jammies….maybe they will join in.
