Dear Parents: Although it has been a mild winter… the weather is all over the place! We are so happy at school when we can get outside to enjoy those warmer days. Let’s see if “old man winter” is gone for good. Our themes this month are Dinosaurs, Family, and Easter. We will be focusing on the letters Dd, Kk, Mm, Ii and Pp. Our color is green. Some of our Bible stories will include: Psalm 147:5 “Our Lord is Great”, Jesus Will Return As King”, “Jesus Heals Peter’s Mother-In-Law”, “Issac is Born” and “People Welcome Jesus to Jerusalem”. The mission statement of our school is to “Joyfully proclaim and enthusiastically share God’s love to preschoolers and their families”. We strive to do this everyday. This month we have several opportunities before us to share God’s love. We will celebrate Grandfriend’s day. The students will be bringing a grandparent or grand friend to school. We will also begin discussing the Easter story. It is usually easier to talk about Jesus’ birth than His death, but this story brings much hope to Christians as we know He is alive in Heaven and those that believe will share eternity with Him. Death is a subject that families deal with in different ways. At school we use age appropriate materials to share His story with the children. As with any subject at school, children of this age group may mix things up and be a little confused. Please feel free to discuss with your child’s teacher and/or me any questions or concerns you may have. Here’s to fun and sunny days ahead! Blessings Angie Hohl Program Director

FLC’s Body and Soul exercise classes are searching for a babysitter. The current need is for Monday and Friday mornings 9am-10:30am. Please contact Kelly Favret for more information [email protected].
We will be collecting filled plastic Easter eggs for our classroom egg hunts. If you would like to donate filled eggs, please look for the sign up sheet in the main building and the learning cottage. Donations should be returned by Friday, March 31, 2017
March 23 & 24 We will be celebrating in all classes. Children may bring a special guest to school. A detailed letter will be sent home soon.
