LOFT Lifestyle Reports Week 39 Mastering Your Wellness One of the most important lessons of this course is that wellness is an essential part of being healthy, happy, and successful. To be well, you need a mind that is working for you, not working against you. These weekly worksheets include some of the most powerful exercises that I’ve discovered to strengthen and tune your mind for success. They correspond with the topics discussed in each week’s lessons. Taking Stock This teleclass described the importance of wellness, as well as some ways that you can increase your level of wellness. Mastering wellness is an important step in being able to create the life of your dreams. As a reminder, there is a difference between health and wellness – wellness is about feeling good overall. To be well, you must feel good physically and mentally. The following elements contribute to wellness:    

Power nutrients – Maintaining a good diet and consistent exercise routine to improve your physical health. Power stress – Balancing “good” stress, which pushes you forward, and “bad” stress, which drags you down. Power recovery – Taking the time necessary to reboot and re-energize; “down” time. Power charge – Finding your purpose in life. Discovering the reason why you are excited to wake up each morning and start the day.

Affirmations The biggest difference between happy, successful people and unhappy, struggling people are their beliefs. The beliefs that you have about yourself and others dramatically influence how you live your life. Affirmations are simple statements of beliefs. Starting your day with affirmations puts you in the right state of mind and, if you do them over and over again, then your affirmations will embed new beliefs deep in your subconscious. The best affirmations are in the present tense, positive and spoken with emotion behind them. Each LOFT Lifestyle Report contains a set of ten affirmations that you should state first thing in the morning. They correspond with what you’re learning in the teleclasses, and they shouldn’t take you more than a minute to do each day. The key with affirmations is to do them consistently. If you take the time each day to do them, especially first thing in the morning when your mind is as clear as it’s going to be, then they can profoundly transform your life. Week 39 Affirmations 1. I will provide my body with the nutrients that it needs. 2. I am open to new and healthy foods. 3. I can exercise and build up my physical strength. 4. I can stop and take a deep breath when needed. 5. I am not my job. 6. I am more than my job. 7. I deserve to take a break. 8. I can work hard and play hard. 9. I can get at least seven hours of sleep every night. 10. I can wake up happy and ready to face the day.
