Lynnfield Little League Huckleberry Hill School Teacher’s Lounge February 24, 2016 Meeting Minutes #6 – 2016 Season 

Meeting called to Order – 7:00PM



Purpose Miscellaneous topics per BOD Agenda dated February 24, 2016.



Attendance: Present Robert Higdon, Bob Tashjian, Tom Pascuccio, Rob Gizmunt, Tony Martinho, John Micieli, Jeff Mullin, Glen Grabau, James Delaney, Steve Drzewiczewski, Walter Radulski, Peter Groussis, Brian Caulfield, Erik Neenan, Drew Lucich, Steve Bond



Approval of January 20, 2016 Minutes – will be at next meeting



Clinic Update – Robert Higdon/Jimmy Delaney 1. High School will run a three(3) day clinic during April Vacation. Probably Mon/Wed/Fri. from 1-4PM at the High School Field. Will only be open to league age 12 and under, Cost will be $50.00 for all 3 days or $20.00/per day. There will be another event for Big Diamond age kids to practice with the High School team to be coordinated by Bob Tashjian



Open Director Positions 1. Double AA league director – Erik Neenan was voted in - unanimously 2. Still Need TBall Director, Summer Baseball Director, and Fall Ball Director



Registration Numbers & Tryout Wrap Up 1. As of 2/24/16 total of 374 kids registered 287 little league age children are registered, 44 Big Diamond, 43 Tee Ball. 2. Tryouts are complete for 2016 Season



Miscellaneous Items 1. MAJOR LEAGUE DRAFT – March 2, 2016 at 7:00PM – Huckleberry School 1. CORI FORMS – continue to be run by Rob Gizmunt 2. SAFETY PLAN – submitted by Rob Higdon 3. COACHES – Separate Meeting will be held with coaches prior to season, Tony Martinho will address. 4. PARADE – Try to schedule parade for opening day (April 24, 2016) – Billy Giannasca??? 5. JUNIOR HIGH AFTER PROM PARTY – voted to donate $150.00 to Junior HS after prom party. 6. SCHEDULE – Peter Groussis?



Field Update 1. Spring Clean-Up will be on April 2, 2016, with a rain date of April 9, 2016. 2. Issue with Fencing around the dugouts 3. Continuing dialogue to find out what the Town will do at fields and whatthe maintenance plan will be.



Communication and Fundraising 1. Brian Caulfield prepared a fundraising letter that is being mailed out to approximately 200 Lynnfield Businesses
