MAYRA MEETING MINUTES December 16, 2013 Present: Kris Radeke, Patti Miller, Lindsay Ashworth, Adam Nordenstrom, Joe Mulford, Brett Baldwin, Kevin Braidey, Julie Cokley Also present: Jinx Greski, Jane Skramsted, Sara Nordenstrom, Joe Deithelm, and Randy Stillday Meeting called to order 6:42 p.m. Motion to approve November minutes: Adam Nordenstrom and Krissy Radeke seconds. Old Business Emails regarding travel teams hotel arrangements. New Business Parents that have all volunteer points will be able to make $8 an hour up to $200 to use towards next year’s fees for a max of 25 hours.
Each committee will fill out a document (see attached) and will be to the board members prior to or at each monthly meeting.

Committee Reports Hockey: Dusty Lindquist is willing to do goalie stuff for cheaper and will do a proposal in April
Sara Nordenstrom asked for $190 startup money for the outdoor jamboree and indoor B Mite. Checks received from the C & D mite Jamboree will be deposited tomorrow, 12/17/13
Rachel Ruis has asked that her $50 coaches reimbursement go towards next years fees as she hadn’t yet received it Mites: Hardest Working Mite Program going well. Mites skated with the HS team a huge success. Tournaments: Recap of PWB2 Recap of 10UB Upcoming SqB2/SqC Volunteers needed
Coaches:
Need to make sure all coaches have taken the online modules, attended their clinics and done background screening checks by December 31st to avoid redlining. D10 stressed this at D10 Meeting – December 2nd
Safe Sport:
Trisha Gravning took a training class Email to managers to get info from them – background checks are REQUIRED to be done.
Concession Stand:
Not open if no one is signed up Thoughts for future seasons?
Warming House: Joe Diethelm is going to take over the inside duties. Scheduling, cleaning, etc. Flooding has begun. Outdoor rinks will be open… December 20 th. Scheduling Issues: Mite practice/game scheduling conflicts w/NCBD – resolved Softball Nothing to report T-ball

Baseball $4,000 for T-shirts needs to paid to Printeez $2,984.85 was spent from the Twins Grant at Trailview schools Received Twin Grant Plaque that will need to be displayed at fields is spring. Flag Football Nothing Soccer

Fundraising: Poinsettia sales complete. Approximately $700 raised. Kris Radeke & Patti Miller handed out all plants Heggie’s Pizza Sales (January – deliver in February)
That’s Italian Committee: Meeting December 19th 6 p.m. to go over initial information and duties Committee members are - Patti Miller, Cristy Thomas, Kate Anderson, Julie Cokley, Abby Tober, Lindsay Ashworth.
Civic Center Report: H.S. Locker room almost complete. MFSC storage room needs to be moved. Meeting adjourned at 8:40 p.m. Next scheduled board meeting to be held on Monday, January 20 th at 6:30 p.m. at the Mora Civic Center.
