MAYRA MEETING MINUTES June 16, 2013 6:30pm Present: Kris Radeke, Sheila Swenson, Patti Miller, Adam Nordenstrom, Luke Athey, Kevin Braidey Also present: Brett Baldwin, Jinx Greski, Sara Nordenstrom, Jane Skramstad Absent: Joe Mulford, Lindsey Ashworth, Stacey Peterson Meeting called to order 6:32 pm Motion to approve May minutes. Adam/Luke approved.
Old Business Spring Fundraiser- see reports for results. Hockey working meeting-Brett waiting for the high school hockey schedule to make sure that the dates we chose for our home tournaments will work. Christy Thomas will be in charge of getting the tournaments put into Lets Play Hockey. Registration – For all levels except for Mites, 1/3 of registration is due each month starting 9/15/13. Then 10/15/13, 11/15/13. Concession stand – Stacey and Patti are going to meet to come up with some kind of a plan to try to keep it. This will change some of the points system. The figure skating club would do some shifts for a % of the money brought in during figure skating. Website – MAYRA’s new updated website is up and running. www.mayrasports.com. Code of conducts: board of directors, coaches, parents, social media, money handling. Motion to approve – Adam/Luke approved. New Business On-line handbook – Patti will work on this. Committee Reports: Hockey – registration dates are discussed. Sheila will let D10 about Sara Nordenstrom being the new registrar. Warming house – Brett will work on killing the weeds and mow. We need to set a date for clean-up and create a to-do list for this. For inside and out. Softball – nothing to report. All is going well. T-ball – There was one coaching issue, but Kevin is taking care of it.
Baseball- more equipment was needed. Bills given to Jane. 3rd and 4th grade pitching questions. Otherwise no issues. Flag Football – Nothing to report. Soccer – Nothing to report. Patti has some contacts.
