Meeting called to order by McCauley at 5:30 pm ➢ Previous Meeting Minutes: o Approval of August 8, 2017 minutes. Motion by Skarda second by Wood. Approved.

Old Business: ➢ Policy: o Bylaws: Board reviewed final draft of the ByLaws. ▪ MOTION: Kummer moved to accept and sign the amended Bylaws, Second by Skarda. All aye, approved. o Club Handbook: Kummer will make applicable changes based on the group’s discussion and present version 4 for review at the October board meeting. ▪ Tournaments: Priority will be placed on state sanctioned and/or coordinated tournaments/jamborees. Only one tournament will be allowed per season where the team is travelling a distance of greater than 200 miles, one-way. The board may alter the policy at its discretion. For non-Jamboree events team will be allowed $1500 for tournament entry fees and a maximum of 2 tournaments. ▪ Game Limits: The USA model hockey association guidelines will be adopted and included in the Club handbook to inform MCHC policy related to maximum number of games, practice-to-game ratio, number of players per team, etc... ▪ Player Movement: Rough draft of “Play-Up” policy was reviewed. McCauley to confer with Keith Olson regarding USA Hockey or NDAHA guidelines or rules. Kummer to draft final play-up policy based on McCauley direction. ➢ Facility: o RRC: Skarda to order ice making materials (ie. Paint, etc…) ➢ Learn-to-Skate o Requires a special event sanction form. Wood to follow-up with NDAHA. o Participants do not have to register with USA Hockey o All coaches must be certified to coach. ➢ Registration: ▪ No consent to treat forms needed for this season. ▪ Wood establishing our registration setup.

➢ 19U Coaches Discussion: o Parents of 19U girls players submitted comments and showed up to discuss the 19U girls team for the upcoming season. After much discussion around developing our players the board moved forward with promoting Chris Lundin as the head coach of the 19U girls team for the upcoming season.
