God is the Author. And so, just as His writing style reflects, there are surprises, twists, and turns. It doesn't progress in an uneventful, gradual incline. The best dramas have real tragedies, the best paintings have both shadow and light.” We wish life was a light-hearted romantic comedy, but in reality life is more like a tragedy-filled drama. God has promised us a happy ending (Revelation 22), but plot twists are common. We make plans, and then the inexplicable and unexpected happen. Thank Him that He not only is the Author of this script, but also the Director.

We are very blessed to have had a successful Vacation Bible School this year with 7 children accepting Christ! And although we did our best to keep the costs low, we did not receive enough donations to cover what was spent this year. Each teacher/leader spent approximately $50 out of pocket, and the church budget covered the curriculum. However, an addition $765 was spend on snacks, crafts and décor. $400 was donated already, and I would like challenge you to donate the additional $365 to replace what was spent. So if you find it in your heart (or your wallet) to donate to the VBS fund now for next year, that would be greatly appreciated!
