the pipes for the Bullets and made seven saves while playing the first half. Freshman Taylor Sehdev came on to post a scoreless second half while also making seven saves in just her second collegiate appearance.

The Series Gettysburg holds a 22-6-3 lead over Swarthmore in the all-time series that started in 1988, but the Garnet have captured the last two meetings. It has been an extremely tight series in recent years, as seven of the eight matches since 2010 have resulted in a tie or a one-goal decision.

Bullets Blank Frostburg Last Wednesday, Gettysburg earned a 2-0 non-conference victory at Frostburg State on first-half goals from sophomores Samantha Esposito and Alexa Bushey. Classmate Kiera Loftus made five of her six saves in the first half en route to her fourth shutout of the season.

Last Meeting The Bullets allowed just two shots on goal but the host Garnet earned a 1-0 victory at Swarthmore last season. Gettysburg held a 13-8 shot advantage but could not dent goalie Reba Magier, who made four saves. After a scoreless first half, Claire O'Brien headed home a cross from Katherine Zavez in the 50th minute for the eventual game-winning goal. The Bullets threatened late, taking five shots over the final seven minutes while earning a corner kick with less than a minute left, leading to a loose-ball scrum in front of the net. But both ensuing shots were blocked, and an offside call against the Bullets in the closing seconds sealed the win for Swarthmore. Last Time Out Ninth-ranked and undefeated College of New Jersey used a big first half to register a 5-1 non-conference victory over the Bullets here at Clark Field this past Wednesday night. The Lions scored all their goals in the opening half before the Gettysburg defense settled in to blank the visitors in the second period. The Bullets became the first team in seven matches to score on TCNJ when sophomore Lauren Miesemer struck in the 83rd minute with her second goal of the year. Sophomore Kiera Loftus started between

300 Wins With their 2-0 victory over Washington College on Sept. 24, the Bullets became just the second women's soccer program in the Centennial Conference to reach 300 wins, joining Johns Hopkins. The Gettysburg women's soccer team's inaugural season was 1988, and the Bullets have won at least 10 matches in 18 of 24 years since 1992. The program has captured five Centennial Conference titles and earned seven NCAA tournament appearances. Scouting Swarthmore  After having their nine-match winning streak snapped last Saturday versus Johns Hopkins, the Garnet found their way back into the winning column with a 1-0 victory at Washington College this past Wednesday. Senior Caroline Khanna scored in the 58th minute while sophomore Amy Shmoys made four saves.  Swarthmore has yielded just three goals for the season, shutting out nine of its 11 opponents. Shmoys and sophomore Sydney Hunter have shared time in goal, with Shmoys going 450 minutes without allowing a goal.  Offensively, sophomore Marin McCoy has led the Garnet, racking up eight goals and five assists.
