Opening Kick The Bullets close out their three-game homestand as they face the York (Pa.) College Spartans in a non-conference match-up this evening. The Series The Bullets lead York 5-3-2 in the all-time series that dates back to 2006. Six of the 10 matches between the two sides have gone to overtime and a total of only 11 goals have been scored in the series, with the Bullets outscoring the Spartans 7-4. Last Meeting Jessica Cuttone scored her first collegiate goal, striking in the 42nd minute to lift the Bullets to a 1-0 victory at York last season. Gettysburg outshot the Spartans 17-5, including 11-2 in the opening half, but Kate Lutte made seven saves in net to keep it close for York. Eliza Gray '16 stopped two shots, to earn the shutout for the Bullets. Krissy Bradley created Cuttone's scoring opportunity when she ripped a shot that bounced off the crossbar. Cuttone was there to punch in the loose ball and give the Bullets all the offense they would need. Last Time Out Freshman Tatum Lareau scored her first collegiate goal, and it held up as the game-winner as the Bullets blanked Elizabethtown College 1-0 in a non-conference match-up here at Clark Field this past Saturday. Gettysburg, which played without four starters and had three freshmen in the starting lineup, outshot the

Blue Jays 16-6 and allowed just one shot on goal. Sophomore goalie Kiera Loftus made one save to record her second shutout in three days. Lareau broke through for the Bullets in the 52nd minute, when she fought through traffic before slipping a shot past a diving keeper and inside the right post. Stingy Bense The Bullets have yielded just one goal through their first 278 minutes this season and have put up 180 minutes of scoreless soccer during their current homestand. Gettysburg has limited its opponents to just 16 shots, including only six on goal, and have yet to allow a goal during regulation play. Scouting York  York opened the season with a pair of victories at the Rowan Prof Soccer Classic before dropping a pair of home matches this past weekend at the York Classic. The Spartans were edged 1-0 by Franklin & Marshall on Saturday before dropping a 2-0 decision to McDaniel on Sunday.  Freshman Georgia Gillchrist has led the Spartans offensively early this season with two goals and one assist while sophomore Caitlin Rankin has contributed one goal and two assists.  Freshman Brittany Cullison has played all but 45 minutes in net and has given up just three goals over 315 minutes, posting one shutout and a 0.86 goals-against average.
